Self guide is a way to hike that allows moving along itineraries without guides, in so far that you are equipped with reliable tools that guarantee to safely reach your destination. Self guide is a fun and adventurous experience that, if done with family or a small group of friends, brings to life nature in a different way. Self guiding does not require particular physical abilities or specific knowledge and it is open to everyone. Easy and short routs can be covered along gravel roads or well beaten paths; self guide only requires feet for walking, enjoyment of landscapes, and excitement for potential discovery.
The offered service consists of supplying all the data and information you need for single routes, and include in the following:

  1. cartographic support with well-marked routes.
  2. road books with exhaustive travel notes, GPS coordinates of  main points and distances between them, information about the change in the slope and the track type (gravel road to path, asphalt road to pavement, etc.), as well as the presence along the way of natural or artificial landmarks (bridges, lakes, buildings, isolated great trees, Christian crosses…)
  3. notes related to places of historical concern that can be found along the itinerary, as well as important habitats or animal and plant species.

All materials can be at your disposal, choosing between readymade itineraries/tours, or you can request  a personalized one; itineraries for walking or biking can also be prepared.
It is also possible to create appropriate self guided itineraries for disabled people, providing streamlined road books.
